About

My career to date has mainly been in the corporate sector as a Project Consultant / Manager until the beginning of 2010 when I lost my father to Pulmonary Fibrosis, a type of Lung disease.

This time was very stressful and anxious for all the family, in particular my father, and my sense of not being able to support him more whilst his condition deteriorated, even though I didn’t know what it was, how to or who to ask.

I have always had an interest in Reflexology but had never really had the opportunity to explore it more.  It was after loosing my father that I decided I wanted to re-train and support people with chronic / long-term illnesses and their families, and so re-trained as a Complementary Therapist specialising in therapies that are evidenced based.

I completed and passed with distinction, The Foundation Degree in ComplementaryTherapies for clinical practice, through Staffordshire University in 2013.

My vision is to help residents and their families in and around Stoke on Trent / North Staffordshire that have chronic / long-term illness by visiting support groups or running pop up clinics at Community Centres, GP surgeries, local charities and social groups.

I also have an interest in supporting stress / anxiety within the workplace with specific and easily accessible and short therapies. These fully recognise and support the physical symptoms and the growing implications it has on our health.

On-site massage is fastly becoming recognised as an integral factor of staff wellbeing, helping to reduce the number sick days and the associated cost this has not only on the individual but for the business’s themselves.

I also run a private clinic at home and offer mobile services too.
